There is a women empowerment challenge that is trying to bring awareness to the femicide happening in Turkey. Besides using our platform to spread awareness, Jassy and I firmly believe the best way to support this cause is to work closely with non-profits that specifically help women and children in need. With that said, we are supporting HousingPlus NYC to fundraise money for a good cause! 100% of proceeds from this auction goes to support women and children in crisis. HousingPlus NYC currently house over 200 homeless women and children.
This month, we have donated our "Girls Rule the World" card, designed by @jessicalsh, to HousingPlus NYC Virtual Housewarming Party and Auction. You can bid on the "Hear Her Roar" Empowerment Bundle which features a "Bossy is Beautiful" tote bag and a cheeky "Mansplaining Free Zone" lumber pillow from @shattered_glass_tees and 10 pack of "Girls Run the World" hand-designed cards by @letterati.co. This auction will take place on September 7th! Save the date and support a good cause!
Besides donating our "Girls Rule the World" card, we have also donated 300 masks as well as several hundred handmade crepe paper roses to HousingPlus NYC (8.5.2020). Thank you to our amazing masks donors for making this possible 💕
